Who we serve: Family Offices

Senior content leadership for family offices

Harper Belmont Media gives family offices a senior media team without adding headcount. We lead content strategy as a fractional Chief Content Officer, produce legacy and family-story films, and handle the private investor communications that a direct-investing family office increasingly needs.

Family offices rarely want publicity. They want control: of the family story, of how co-investors and partners see them, and of what the next generation inherits. Our work is built around discretion first and visibility only where you choose it.

What family offices hire us for

Fractional Chief Content Officer

Ryan Harper leads your content and communications function part-time: strategy, a quarterly roadmap, messaging governance, executive coaching and oversight of anything produced. From $8,000 a month.

Legacy and family-story films

Documentary-style films that record the founder generation in their own words, for the family archive, a foundation, or a milestone event. Private by default.

Discreet investor communications

For family offices that invest directly or alongside sponsors: a clear capital narrative, co-investor materials and short partner videos that make you the preferred source of capital.

Foundation and philanthropy storytelling

Impact films and event coverage for the causes the family supports, built for donors, boards and grant partners.

Next-generation on-camera coaching

Camera readiness and executive presence coaching in a real studio, so family members who step into public or board roles are prepared for it.

How we work with a family office

We start with what should stay private and what should not. Some families want nothing public at all and use us only for internal and archival work. Others want a quiet, credible presence for deal flow. Both are normal.

Every project has a written approval step, we will sign an NDA before details are shared, and raw footage stays private. We do not list a family office as a client without explicit written permission.

Questions from family offices

Yes. A family office engagement can be entirely private: legacy films for the family archive, internal communications, and co-investor materials shared only with partners. Nothing is published unless you decide it should be, and we will not name you as a client without your written permission.

Ryan Harper acts as your senior content and communications lead part-time. That covers strategy and a quarterly roadmap, how the office and its principals are described, coaching before interviews or speaking roles, and oversight of anything produced. It starts at $8,000 a month with a six-month minimum.

It depends on how many family members we interview and how much archival material there is to gather and research. Interviews can happen at the family home, the office or our Dallas-area studio, and we set the full schedule with you at the start so the film is ready for any milestone date you have in mind.

Yes, before any planning conversation goes into detail. Raw footage and project files are stored privately, and at the end of the engagement we can hand them over or delete them, whichever the family prefers.
